The Normal

The Normal is Argentine composer and modular electronic artist Martin Moretto and New York-based composer and producer R Pivovar. They met while Martin lived in New York City and have been making music together since 2025.

Through their work, they explore the organic and inorganic. There is a juxtaposition between live, improvisatory, generative electronics and carefully-assembled, surgical production. Their self-titled debut LP explores the mangling of modular electronics, all the way to the brink of structural collapse and back.
