Josh Coffee

Josh Coffee is the alias of R Pivovar, a New York City-based artist and producer. The name "Josh Coffee" came from years of use as a fake name meant to be equal parts innocuous and weird. He imagines it as a fictionalized version of himself, a version that would exist somewhere offscreen in the Twin Peaks universe. He focuses on the intersection between IDM, techno, downtempo, and classical music. He is one half of the duo The Normal alongside modular electronic artist Martin Moretto.
