Josh Coffee

Josh Coffee is the alias of Ryan Pivovar, a New York City-based artist and producer. The name "Josh Coffee" came from years of use as a fake name meant to be equal parts innocuous and weird. He imagines it as a ficitonalized version of himself, a version that would exist somewhere offscreen in the Twin Peaks universe. He focuses on the intersection between IDM, techno, downtempo, and classical music. He also makes music as R Pivovar and is one half of the duo The Normal alongside modular electronic artist Martin Moretto.
